There are many theories, but the 1994 movie Pulp Fiction is just about a botched robbery and a couple who went out dancing and never came back.
The song Pulp Fiction by DJ and music producer Alex Reece is one of the first songs from the first era of Drum and Bass, released in the London summer of 1995, and just like the movie it simply doesn't age, and still carries an unintentional irony: the sampler of trumpet did not came from any song of the soundtrack, but from rapper Coolio's song Can-O-Corn, also from 1994.
A classic is forever a classic, and how no one has ever combined this scene with this track before will always be a mystery, but now it's done.
And it was only a matter of looking through to realize, 30 years later, that Samuel Jackson breaks the fourth wall in the end and whether it was on purpose or not we still don't know, but the scene was kept and Tarantino is truly a miserable genius.
And of course, from now on Mia and Vincent will dance forever and if someone asks you how to dance Drum and Bass (they always do) you can answer: Pulp Fiction Style.
