Inside a Giant Shipyard Scrapping Rusted Ships by Hand

If you're trying to ride for free, it'll be the same I do to you.
In Freudian psychoanalysis, sublimation is a mature defense mechanism in which the energy of a primitive impulse is transformed into something socially acceptable or creative: art, science, humor, spirituality, sports.
Instead of acting against something or someone you channel that energy into overcoming, creating, producing, writing, or learning.
Years ago, a Kyuss fan made a visualizer for El Rodeo using footage of workers dismantling and demolishing ships at a ship-breaking yard.
So I decided to do exactly the opposite, using the very same footage idea.
I don’t know if he’d mind, He doesn’t know anyway and John Garcia doesn’t want to know.
And even if he did, he probably wouldn’t give two shits on how I feel.
But that’s fine, Kyuss is massive and unbreakable so I sublimated the original destructive idea behind “El Rodeo” and turned it into something being built in a place where everything else seems to be broken, dismantled and torn apart.
And I simply called it El Rodeo.
