Genotype - Further Searching

Movie:

La Jetée (1962) - Directed by Chris Maker

--

Before Inception, Interstellar and The Terminator, even before Alphaville and Planet of the Apes, and before, of course, 12 Monkeys, there was La Jetée.

Everything that matters in the science fiction of the past few decades is already there in La Jetée, a short film so classic and simple that you can understand it even without hearing the narration or reading the subtitles.

Genotype also seems to have been around forever, always with his feet firmly planted in the future.

And just as La Jetée needs no subtitles, Genotype needs no introduction.

I took the atmosphere of the short film, paired it with the track Further Searching, and called it Further Searching, because life is an endless search for love and obsessions, and then live by obsessive memories of love and obsessions.
