Otto is a name from ancient Germanic languages that represents wealth and prosperity, much like Pluto, the son of Demeter, the goddess of agriculture, who was the second daughter of the Titans Rhea and Cronus, and sister to Hestia, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus — the father of Perseus, who killed Medusa on the island of Gorgona and carried her head riding Pegasus to kill the Kraken, save Princess Andromeda and marry her aided by Bubo, a mechanical owl crafted by Hephaestus because Athena refused to lend him her pet owl — but not before killing three giant scorpions that sprang from Medusa’s blood after Calibos punctured the bag containing her head, although he also died because Perseus was mythologically furious.

Greek Mythology is just like that — it’s always someone's son trying to kill someone to have sex with someone, and if they’re not having sex with anyone, they’re trying to kill someone to bang anyone else.

"Otto's Way" has been one of my favorite songs ever since the first time I heard it — which was also the first time I saw Fabio play and coincidentally at the very first edition of the Skol Beats Festival in Curitiba, Brazil.

For some reason, this track made me think of the movie Clash of the Titans, and I decided to dive into deep childhood memories when monster movies kept me awake at night, and the nostalgia from when electronic music festivals felt like mythological adventures and everyone stumbled out of a labyrinth into a vast, unknown musical terrain.

What Ray Harryhausen and Jungle Music did for humanity echoes through eternity, so I brought both of them together, and the vibe clicked — Perseus is now called Otto, and the name of the short film is The Otto’s Army.
